Topic: Project of the Pavilion on Water - Claude Monet's Exhibition in Paris.
Projekt realizowany na zajęciach z Projektowania wystaw. Inspiracją do stworzenia projektu była twórczość artysty, jak i główne założenia impresjonizmu, chwytanie słońca. Ekspozycja wystawy została wyselekcjonowana wg pór dnia. Obrazy są prezentowane od świtu przez południe aż do zmierzchu. Ponieważ artysta bardzo często inspirował się motywem wody selekcja dzieł nastąpiła również w tym kierunku. Z tego właśnie też powodu pawilon został umieszczony na wodzie, a dokładnie przy Wyspie Świętego Ludwika (fr. Île Saint-Louis), jednej z dwóch wysp na Sekwanie w centrum Paryża. Ściana południowa obiektu została całkowicie przeszklona, dzięki czemu wystawa otwiera się na Sekwanę z migoczącym w oddali pejzażem Paryża. Obiekt został podzielony na strefę wewnętrzną i zewnętrzną, wewnętrzna obejmuje wystawę właściwą oraz funkcje recepcji, szatni, ochrony, strefę wejścia. Strefa zewnętrzna obejmuje dostępny ogólne taras widokowy, którego ściana wschodnia i zachodnia zbudowana jest z paneli, które przymykają bądź otwierają nam dostęp naturalnego światła. Nawiązują one do impresjonistycznych fascynacji światłem i jego wpływu na nasze postrzeganie.

About project:
The project was carried out during classes on projectingexhibitions. Works of the artist and the main idea ofimpressionism – catching the light were the main sources of the inspiration. The exhibition was selected by periods of the day. Images are presented accordingly from dawn, noon, until dusk. Since the artist was very often inspired by water motives the selection of works was also carried out in this theme. That is a
main reason for placing the pavilion on water, and by Saint Louis' Island (French Îl'e Saint-Louis) which is one of two islands on Seine in the centre of Paris. The south wall of the object was fitted entirely with glass, and that is why the exhibition is open to the flickering landscape of Paris. The object is divided into the inner and outside zone. The internal zone includes: the proper exhibition and acts as a reception, cloakroom, protection, and an entry. The outside zone consists of easily accessible observation deck the eastern and west wall of which is built from panels that can restrict or open the access to natural light. They refer to fascinations with light and its effect on our perception.
